The 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy was a landmark Test series between Australia and India, contested across five matches in Australia. India had won the previous four editions of the BGT since 2017, and arrived as strong favourites, particularly given Jasprit Bumrah's world-class form. However, Australia produced an excellent series, winning 3-1 to reclaim the trophy for the first time in a decade.
